Once you're enrolled, all bookings are managed through Private Radar — the School's online booking and flight tracking system. You can book, check, and cancel lessons from there at any time.

1

Booking a lesson

Lessons are booked through Private Radar in line with your approved training plan. Your plan sets out the days and times that work for your schedule — bookings are made within those agreed slots.

It's your responsibility to check your bookings regularly via Private Radar and make sure everything is correct. This includes verifying that your upcoming lessons are as expected and that any charges after a flight match what you flew.

1
Log into Private Radar
Access your student account through the Private Radar portal. Your login details are provided at enrolment.
2
Check availability and select your slot
Browse available times that fit your training plan and select a slot. Instructor and aircraft availability is shown in real time.
3
Confirm your booking
Confirm the lesson and you're booked. You'll see the session in your upcoming bookings.
4
Check in before your lesson
When you arrive, check in via Private Radar. Verify your details are correct — this is the record used to calculate your charge.

Rescheduling a lesson

If you need to change a booked lesson, you can reschedule at no charge as long as you give more than 24 hours' notice. To reschedule, cancel the existing booking in Private Radar and make a new booking in a suitable slot.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a £50 cancellation fee applies even if you intend to rebook — the fee covers the instructor and aircraft time that was held. See the cancellation policy for the full details.

Keep an eye on your bookings

It's your responsibility to monitor your lessons in Private Radar. If a lesson needs to move, acting early avoids any cancellation fee — and helps us offer the slot to another student.

3

Advance booking and payment

Advance payments are only accepted where an active training plan is in place. If your plan is active and you want to load account credit to pay for upcoming lessons in advance, you can do so — credit is applied against lessons as they're flown.

The School reserves the right to restrict advance booking privileges if you persistently cancel booked sessions. Consistent cancellations affect instructor and aircraft scheduling, so we take them seriously.
