Pre-registration is an optional step that lets you submit your personal details while your training plan is still being prepared — so there's less to do once you're ready to enrol.

1

What it is

After you've requested a training plan, there's typically a few days while we put your schedule together. Pre-registration is a way to use that time productively by getting your enrolment details into our system early.

It's entirely optional. If you'd prefer to wait until you've seen your plan before submitting any information, that's completely fine — nothing is lost by skipping it. Pre-registration just removes a step from the process when it comes to the day you decide to enrol.

Pre-registration doesn't commit you to anything

Submitting your details at this stage doesn't mean you've decided to enrol. It just means your information will be on file when you're ready to proceed.

2

What it covers

Pre-registration collects the personal details needed for CAA student registration and your training file. These are the same details you'd provide at enrolment — pre-registration just means you can do it now, in your own time, rather than at the point of signing up.

Full name and date of birth
Required for CAA registration and your student file.
Contact details
Address, email, and phone number for your student record.
Medical declaration
A basic self-declaration about any medical conditions relevant to flight training. Not the same as your Class 2 medical — just the initial information we need on file.
Next of kin
Emergency contact details for your training file.

When to pre-register

The best time to pre-register is after you've submitted your training plan request and are reasonably confident you're going to proceed. You don't need to have seen your plan yet — you're not committing to anything — but it makes most sense once you've decided you want to train with us.

If you pre-register and then decide not to enrol, your details simply aren't used. There's no account created and no charge applied.

Pre-registration is entirely optional

If you'd rather wait until you've approved your training plan before submitting any information, skip it. The enrolment process covers everything pre-registration does — it just means handling it all in one step rather than two.
